Dr. Tun and staff are amazing!

WOW—just wow! I feel seriously grateful that I found this dental office. A few years ago, I lost my favorite dentist when I had to change insurance, which kicked off the dreaded “dentist hunt”… and unfortunately, I chose poorly the first time. My last experience was awful—I felt rushed in and out, the cleaning was harsh, and the overall visit left a lot to be desired. For the past six months, I’ve been asking around for recommendations, and I finally heard about Tigard Triangle Smiles Dentistry—and I’m so glad I did. To start, I didn’t meet a single person in the clinic that I didn’t immediately like. Kimber, the receptionist who took my call, set the tone right away. She was warm, friendly, and empathetic. She got me scheduled for the very next day and gave me clear, simple instructions for completing my new patient paperwork. And a small but meaningful bonus—I wasn’t told to arrive half an hour early like I have been at most other offices. Then I met Dr. Tun. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever met a more down-to-earth dentist. She took the time to listen to me and my past experiences, and I genuinely felt like she cared. She was also incredibly gentle and efficient. I was on a time crunch—I had only taken two hours off work—and she actually remembered that during my appointment. At one point while cleaning my teeth, I noticed her glance at the clock, and she said, “We’re doing great on time! It’s only 12:20, and we’re on track to get you out right on time.” That might seem like a small comment, but as someone who has worked in the medical field, it spoke volumes about her professionalism and awareness. I truly felt welcomed, heard, and cared for by everyone in the clinic. Okay, last but definitely not least—the technology at this office. Again… WOW. At most dental offices, they might ask if you want to see your X-rays. Here, every chair is set up so you can see exactly what they see in real time. Everything that was done to my mouth was both explained and displayed to me step by step. I’ve been to a lot of dentists in my life, and I’ve never felt so involved in my own care. When they took my X-rays, I was literally the first person to see them because the screen was right in front of me. And the coolest part—they take real, close-up images of your teeth. Ever wondered what your back molars actually look like? I have—and now I know. I even got to see before-and-after images from my cleaning 😍 I loved that part. I also needed two crowns, and they made them on-site the same day. That alone blew me away—this is not the norm. Most offices give you a temporary crown and send the final one out to a lab. After going over a treatment plan (clearly organized from most urgent to more cosmetic), Dr. Tun brought in the financial coordinator. She sat right next to me and walked me through everything on the screen in front of me. I could clearly see what my insurance would cover and what my portion would be—no confusion, no surprises. I also had my own private patient room, which I really appreciated. I don’t love hearing other patients while I’m in the chair, so that made a big difference for me. Honestly, I could go on and on about this place. I’ve been so excited about my experience that I keep telling all my friends and family. If I could give this office 100,000,000 stars, I would. And shoutout to DA Kevin for kicking me out of the chair (haha—inside joke, no patients were harmed during this visit 😂). Thank you, Tigard Triangle Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics! I truly feel like all of you are setting the standard for dental care in 2026. Even the people who weren’t directly involved in my care were incredibly kind (lost cellphone hunters, I’m talking to you! lol ❤️).

Love this place and have been here 4 times this year, absolutely recommend for anything from root canals to cleanings. Special shoutout to the office manager Andrea for flexible availability and to Dr. Tun for saving teeth that I thought were goners! Also to Kevin for all the 💧🚰🚿
